I started bee keeping in the spring of 2022. I started a hive from a split my buddy gave me I just added a queen. A week later I caught my first swarm. I proceeded to make a split and purchased a second queen. The next day I caught another swarm. By the end of the season I had a total of six hives. I gave my friend that got me started the sixth one. My first year was a learning year but I made great progress. I hope year two is much better.
